So, we posted last night at 9:30....and by 1:00 am we were woken by the sound of a baby throwing up! It's so sad to see and hear a little one do this and not understand why its happening. By 2:00 we had been in the shower, washed 3 different pj's, and both mommy and daddy had been barfed on. Such fun! By 3:00 We were on to feeling a little better, but would get sick about every 30 min. and had nothing else to spit up. So, we are now on to dry heaves. By 4:00 mommy and daddy stayed in the room with Tess and laid with her, sat with her, sang to her, and tried to comfort. She finally slept from 6:00 - 9:00, but again, woke up to a dry heave. It is now 1:00 pm and Tess has held down some water, 1.5 saltine crackers, and some noddles from the soup mommy made. We will keep our fingers crossed. The nurse just called after we called them at 9:00 am this morning. A nice 4 hours later, but grateful she called at all.
She still has quite the personality through this whole thing. While watching the Polar Express (she has a thing for trains...) she picked up her barf bowl and was pretending to spit up in it...making noises and jerking her head and laughing. Then threw the bowl across the room. Such a lady...
So, on to a nap for mommy and daddy. We love our little one, even when she smells like curdled milk.
