Cooking or should I say sampling the product?

Another baking adventure.... Tess has been requesting strawberry cupcakes for a long time, well we finally made delicious strawberry cupcakes with a strawberry buttercream frosting. Here is Tess making sure it was perfect. Boy were they yummy, thanks Martha Stewart again!!!!

Spring Break at the Beach

It wasn't extremely warm, but enough sun to go to the beach and play...twice. We built sand castles, went on walks, and ran from the cold, cold water. Here is an amazingly large seastar that Dada and Tess found on one of their quests. It was truly beautiful!

Our first experience with the Easter Bunny and a full basket! We loved finding the basket and learning of all the fun treats inside. No candy here....

This is our first home experiment. We hatched caterpillars into butterflies, a process which took about 3 weeks all together. Tess was fascinated with the whole process and on Easter morning, as it should, we released the new butterflies into the backyard and watched them fly away. It was a wonderful learning experience which she got to see first hand the stages of the butterfly/caterpillars life. We will be doing this again!

Here is Tess getting her feet washed at church on Holy Thursday, just like Jesus did to the apostles at the Last Super. What a wonderful and moving experience.

Didi's Birthday Celebration

Tess loves to help sing Happy Birthday and blow out your candles. If anyone needs help with that we are taking appointments to do so, she is great at making your birthday perfectly special! :-) Just ask Didi.

Easter Egg Dying

We had so much fun dying eggs - it was our first year! We used stickers and crayons to decorate! Baba made so many eggs and we got to color all of them. What fun!
