YaYa's 90th Birthday Party

We celebrated YaYa's 90th birthday this Saturday. It was a surprise to her, she thought she was just having dinner with family, to her surprise it was a few very close friends/family! She was so overwhelmed and teary eyed full of happiness! It was lovely to see, she deserved every minute of it! What a momentous occasion! We had a Russian Doll theme, with Russian food and a fun cake as you can see...yes, I know we are not even Russian, but we loved the theme. So it is a Ukrainian Nesting Doll, right? Thank you to all for helping us celebrate and making it such a special day!!!

Tess' dancing partner

Tess is cracking us up right now. She is totally into the Nutcracker and being Clara. My mom had this Nutcracker that is almost Tess' size as you can see and he has now become Tess' dancing partner whenever we are at my moms.

Christmas cookie making!

Christmas cookie making.... Tess' first time decorating cut outs. She loved it and was so meticulous about how and what she did. It was a wonderful evening and very festive. Reminded me of when I was little and helping my mom decorate. I love Christmas traditions, thank you Jesus for the season!
